PVC

The copper pipe is coated with a layer of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) extruded directly on the tube. The coating is ivory-colored and the inner surface is star-shaped. This special coating absorbs any possible ther- mal dilatations, so that the copper can expand without adhering to the cement surfaces around it.
This particular product is the most innovative solution to the increas- ing aggressiveness of water and the related corrosive phenomena that may affect copper tubing: it helps to maintain its original characteris- tics unaltered over time, also thanks to our 30-year warranty against pitting corrosion.
The special production process, regulated by in-house specifications, is in compliance with the quality assurance provisions of the Standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 and therefore our product is suitable for all the systems installed in compliance with the Italian Ministerial Decree No. 37/2008.
PVC is available in 50 m coils with a diameter of up to 18mm and coils of 25m in a diameter of 22mm. The wall thickness of all diameters in this line is 1mm.
The tubing is marked at intervals of one meter with progressive numbers and each coil bears an identification label.
Each coil is wrapped in polyethylene film for extra protection.

    • Cu-DHP phosphorized copper (Cu + Ag: min. 99,90%, 0,015%≤P≤0,040%), with physical-chemical and mechanical properties and dimensional tolerances in compliance with the Standard UNI EN 1057: 2010
    • The tubes have a CE marking, in compliance with the European Regulation CRP No. 305/2011 and the European Directive PED No. 14/68/EU
    • Physical condition annealed R220 N/mm2
    • Carbon residue ≤0,05mg/dm2, 4 times less than the the level required by the Standard UNI EN 1057.30-year warranty against pitting corrosion
